Triumph for LOYTEC at the Austria’s Leading Companies Award 2014
From a solid small business to a golden medium-sized enterprise
LOYTEC wins in the category “golden medium-sized enterprises” of Vienna at the Austria’s Leading Companies Award 2014. After second place in the previous year, then still in the category “solid small businesses”, LOYTEC couldn’t just improve its ranking, but also rise from a small business to a medium-sized enterprise. The award is annually presented by WirtschaftsBlatt (daily newspaper for economics), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and KSV1870. On the 25th of November 2014, managing director Hans-Jörg Schweinzer received the highly coveted award in the course of a celebration at the Viennese Palais Liechtenstein.

In recognition of outstanding merits for the Austrian export economy, the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO) grants the award “Hidden Champion” to companies that significantly drive the Austrian export economy. LOYTEC ranks among the leading Austrian companies and was therefore awarded as “Hidden Champion 3.0”. On June 24, 2014, managing director of LOYTEC Dietmar Loy received the award from Christoph Leitl, president of WKO, in the course of the Austrian Export Day 2014 in Vienna.
In terminal 2 of Manchester Airport, a new and modern DALI Lighting System was installed. Equipped with LOYTEC components, the highly efficient system allows annual savings of approximately 3,000 MWH. Responsible for the implementation was the British LOYTEC systems integrator Calon, who integrated the modern DALI lighting system with constant light control and occupancy detection, in cooperation with the company Building Environment Control.
At the Constantinus European Award Europe’s best consulting and IT companies compete for the honor to become nominated or awarded for outstanding quality. The international jury of FEACO, the European Federation of Management Consultancies Associations, awarded the silver medal to LOYTEC. The award ceremony took place in Madrid on May 29th, 2014. Criteria for the award are commercial performance, strategic strength, quality of solution, efficiency, and international impact. LOYTEC received the silver medal for the international project “Energy Efficiency in Japan – Sony Corporation Tokyo”, a L-INX based solution for the
