Dipl.-Ing. Dr. Dietmar Loy, LOYTEC

As of 2002 CTO at LOYTEC electronics GmbH (Managing Partner).

Within the management board Dr. Loy is responsible for product development and innovation, product manufacturing, the engineering staff and the company’s budget.

Graduated from University of Technology Vienna in the field of electronic engineering and telecommunications (Master, PhD, with distinction „sub auspiciis praesidentis“).

Afterwards from 1992 to 1999 Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institute for Computer Technology of University of Technology Vienna, interrupted by a year (1994/95) at Motorola in Austin/Texas, USA, working as an ASIC Design Engineer.

From 1999 to 2002 at Coactive Networks, San Francisco, USA, working first as Manager System Design, after that as Director Hardware Engineering.

Published several books on automation technology and numerous articles in technical magazines. extensive teaching and lecturing activities.

Dipl.-Ing. Hans Jörg Schweinzer, LOYTEC

Founded LOYTEC electronics GmbH in 1999 together with four partners.

As of 1999 CEO at LOYTEC electronics GmbH (Managing Partner).

Within the management board Hans-Jörg Schweinzer is responsible for sales, distribution, marketing, communication and business development.

Graduated from University of Technology Vienna in the field of electronic engineering and telecommunications.

Afterwards for eight years Teaching and Research Assistant at the Institute for Computer Technology of University of Technology Vienna, interrupted by his occupation for Motorola in Austin, Texas, USA, as Software Design Engineer in 1995.

Schweinzer is the Austrian delegate in the European standards committee for building automation (CEN/TC247) and on an international basis member of the technical committees ISO/TC205 and JTC-1 SC25.
Member of the board of LonMark International, from 2003 to 2012 member of the executive board of LonMark Germany.

Published several books on automation technology, guest author of numerous magazines, extensive technical lectures.

In 2006 he was nominated “Entrepreneur of the Year“ by Ernst & Young and made it to the finals as one of three.
