Training goal

The training participant is able to perform tasks like the installation, configuration, and management of LOYTEC devices, and also to create customized interfaces to operate and monitor technical building services via LWEB-900 software.

  • System overview of the LWEB-900 architecture
  • Installation and configuration of LWEB-900 server and client
  • Explanation of LWEB-900 license module
  • Data organization/data security (server backup, project backup …)
  • Creation of LWEB-900 projects (project administration in the LWEB-900 sever)
  • Introduction to the LWEB-900 client software and project characteristics
  • Adding a new device to the LWEB-900 project (communications profile, device administration/device management, configurator add ins)
  • Performance of a BACnet network scan of data points in LWEB-900 (creating and working with graphical views, watch views, and parameter views)
  • Web access to the LWEB-900 server
  • Creation of user-defined window layouts (perspectives)
  • Working with LWEB-900 alarm views and creation of alarm messages (e-mail)
  • Creation of LWEB-900 master schedulers (central scheduler management)
  • Creation and evaluation of trend data in the form of device trends, LWEB-900 server trends and trend chart views
  • Explanation of LWEB-900 event view and LWEB-900 search function
  • Generation and distribution (e-mail) of reports
  • Working with AKS identification keys in LWEB-900 (creation of AKS identification keys schemes, assignment of AKS identification keys to data points)
  • Creation of users and user groups in LWEB-900; explanation of LWEB-900 user management and access control lists (creation of user interfaces with perspectives and access control lists)
  • Creation of global connections in LWEB-900
  • Working with graphical views in LWEB-900, creation of templates for graphical views in LWEB-900


Requirements

  • Completed LTRAIN-LINX training and also sophisticated knowledge in the field of “Design of L-WEB projects”, “Working with the L-VIS Configurator”, or a completed LTRAIN-GRAPHICS training.

Recommended prior knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of bus systems in building automation (LON, BACnet, Modbus …)
  • Experience and knowledge of control systems in building technology
  • Handling of L-VIS Configurator (LTRAIN-GRAPHICS)
