Light+Building 2010 - LOYTEC exhibition draws positive response
Great interest in new LOYTEC controllers for room and building automation

lightbuilding2010_400x322.jpg.jpgLOYTEC has now presented itself during the Light+Building 2010 in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) as a provider of automation solutions and products for room and building automation. "The exhibition participation has far exceeded our expectations. The attendee demand exceeded our available staff at times" reports the Managing Directors Dr. Dietmar Loy and Dipl.-Ing. Hans-Jörg Schweinzer.
"The initial presentation of our automation solutions was consistently rated very positively by our customers. This is especially true for those who for the first time contacted us at the Light+Building exhibition. The consistency of the product portfolio, the efficient configuration, easy set-up and support for common communication standards as well as the wide use of Ethernet/IP communication for entire room and building automation was very convincing evidence to those in attendance of a high quality building solution."
With the introduction of the new L-INX and L-ROC controllers LOYTEC offers interested customers to participate in the 'Competence Partner Program'. "LOYTEC is only successful with our customers. With the 'Competence Partner Program' LOYTEC will ensure that our customers get the necessary skills for time-saving handling of our products. This way we can help to ensure that our customers have success in there markets" relates Hans-Jörg Schweinzer.

The rising interest in the product range has confirmed that open communication standards such as ISO 16484-5 (BACnet) and ISO/IEC 14908-1 (Also known as CEA-709, used in LONMARK systems), DALI, M-Bus, Modbus and OPC in the room and building automation are mainstream. LOYTEC L-VIS Touch Panels and L-WEB Visualization only contribute to increased demand. For those concerned with energy consumption, the smooth integration of M-Bus and Modbus meters in building automation systems also met with strong interest. Unbroken was the visitors’ interest in innovation in LOYTEC infrastructure products for the design of LONMARK systems and BACnet networks.

LOYTEC’s presence at the Light+Building exhibition has shown that the building automation market prefers efficient configurable products with open communication interfaces. Accordingly, LOYTEC will offer solutions based on the standard ISO/IEC 14543-3 (KNX) in near future in addition to our existing products using ISO 16484-5 (BACnet) and ISO/IEC 14908-1 (LONMARK Systems). In this manner LOYTEC covers all open communication standards defined for building automation.
