LOYTEC's LDALI-PWR4-U Is World’s First DALI-2 Certified Bus Power Supply

LDALI-PWR4-U DALI2Leading building automation solution provider LOYTEC electronics today announced that its LDALI-PWR4-U is the world’s first DALI bus power supply, which successfully passed the DALI-2 certification process.

Awarded: LOYTEC received the 2016 Lux Award for the Manchester Airport Project

Hans-Jörg Schweinzer nimmt Lux Award entgegen. The international jury awarded LOYTEC the award for “Project of the Year 2016” in the “Industrial and Transport Lighting” category and emphasized the benefits of the DALI lighting system. With the Manchester Airport project, LOYTEC is demonstrating what t he intelligent L- DALI lighting system can achieve in terms of energy efficiency.

Using the most current technology, the LOYTEC lighting control system allows full integration into the existing systems of Manchester Airport. Uniquely, the L- DALI lighting s olution has been linked to both the existing BACnet system and the flight information system. It has been designed to provide additional energy savings through this smart interaction. The L- DALI lighting solution includes daylight -dependent and presence- based constant light control, reducing maintenance by monitoring the luminaires in terms of failures and operating hours. Thanks to the L-DALI solution, the exemplary at Manchester Airport generates energy savings of a remarkable 86% every year. Around 7GWh are saved each year, which is enough energy to supply 2000 average households.

LOYTEC joins the Delta Electronics Group

Together for Smarter and Greener Building Automation

DeltaDelta Electronics, Inc., a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, and LOYTEC jointly announced on April 29, 2016, that Delta Electronics’ wholly owned subsidiary, Delta Electronics International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., has acquired shareholdings in Loy Tec electronics GmbH and Innocontrol electronics GmbH (hereinafter referred to as LOYTEC) on April 28, 2016.

In the future, LOYTEC will act as the competence center for integrated building management and control systems within the Delta Group. LOYTEC has a global market reach, especially in Europe and the US. Combined with Delta’s sales offices in Asia, particularly in China, synergies are expected to develop from integrating products, technologies, and market reach.

Austria’s Leading Companies Award 2015

3rd Place for LOYTEC

In the category “golden medium-sized enterprises” LOYTEC won a third place not only in the national ranking of Vienna, but also in the Austrian-wide ranking. After the first place in 2014, LOYTEC is again ranked among Austria’s business elite. The award is annually presented by WirtschaftsBlatt (daily newspaper for economics), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and KSV1870. On the 23rd of November 2015, managing director Dr. Dietmar Loy received the highly coveted award in the course of a celebration at the Viennese Palais Liechtenstein.
