Older firmware versions (before version 2.2.3) must first be updated to version
2.2.3, before they can be updated to even higher versions. A version 2.2.1 for
example must be updated to version 2.2.3 before it can be updated to version
4.X.Y.


1 Notes and Requirements
========================

LIOB-45X I/O modules expand LOYTEC devices providing a LIOB-IP channel 
(L-INX Automation Servers and L-ROC Room Controllers) with physical inputs and 
outputs. They can also be used as stand-alone LONMARK(R) certified devices.

LIOB-18X/48X I/O controllers are application specific controllers with all
required I/Os on-board.

3 Installation
==============

Please first upgrade the Configurator Software to the latest version.

The LIOB-18X/4XX Firmware is upgraded by using the LINX Configurator Software.
Please refer to the LIOB-18X/4XX user manual for information about firmware
upgrade.
