NLStart is a solution for small CEA-709 networks with up to 64 nodes per network. As a software bundle it consists of a network management tool (NLStartMaker), an OPC-Server (NLStartOPC) and a diagnostic tool(NLStartUtil).

An LNS® Server is not needed. NLStart utilizes an SQL database using ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) to access the database. All NLStart software tools can access the SQL database simultaneously. Since NLStart is not using LNS®, no additional license fee is charged for commissioning a CEA-709 node.
