Graphical User Interface LWEB-800

L-INX Automation Servers can host customized pages with dynamic content accessed by the LWEB-800 user interface. The LWEB-800 (.NET application) runs on any PC, Notebook or Smart Phone with MS Windows operating system. LOYTEC LWEB-800 is available as a free download.


LWEB-800 and L-INX Automation Server utilize Web Services (OPC XML-DA) for internal communication. The firewall friendly communication not using JavaScript or ActiveX enable IT administrators an easy and secure integration into any IP network. LWEB-800 can display information from multiple Automation Servers to show operating conditions buildings and systems.

Each L-INX Automation Server can contain up to ten graphical projects. Each project can have different customized pages and resolutions. All data points on the L-INX Automation Server can be accessed by any of these graphical projects.

Graphical projects could also be hosted by a separate network server. These projects can access data points on any distributed L-INX Automation Server. Besides accessing binary and analog data points the user interface LWEB-800 provides easy access to alarming, scheduling, and trending.

Customized graphics can be displayed in conventional window mode, frameless and as widget with transparent background. Thus, for example, virtual room units can be designed appealingly in terms of style and usability. Due to the support of up to ten graphical projects per L-INX Automation Server up to ten users have access to there individual room automation:

In distributed real estate each LINX-100/101 can provide graphical pages in full screen-size for local operation. Irrespective of this local operation a graphical user interface for central operation can be designed. Every graphical project is protected by a password. Thus, users can only access data they have authorizations for. Data can be provided individually depending on the users focus to ensure an effective operation.

The configuration and parameterization of the L-INX Automation Servers is made via a free configuration tool (Configurator) supplied with the units. Like for the L-VIS Touch Display graphical pages can be created by using the L-VIS/L-WEB configuration tool. The object-oriented configurations of the graphical user interface as well as many pre-defined functions allow the creation of easy-to-use navigation menus and graphic pages. Already designed pages or elements can be reused due to a Copy-and-Paste function. A WYSIWYG preview helps to reduce configuration effort. The L-VIS/L-WEB configuration software can switch between German, English, French, and Japanese language.

The configuration can be downloaded into the device and read from the device.
