LINX-200 Automation Server BACnet
E-mail Notification
L-INX Automation Server can send e-mails to user-defined addressees. Access to a mail server (SMTP) is needed. Any data point or system information can be forwarded by the Automation Server. Consumption, operating states, network statistics, and other information can be processed in the body text or included in a CSV file attachment. E-mail forwarding can be triggered cyclical or event-driven.

Alarms can be forwarded to mobile phones if the mail provider offers SMS (short message service).
E-mail notifications can also be used to send data for long-term storage to the LWEB-801 Server. E-mail notifications with a CSV file attachment are sent to a mail server where LWEB-801 polls the e-mails. Data from the CSV files are automatically extracted and stored in the SQL database. LWEB-801 recognizes existing data and ensures that the same data will not be stored repeatedly.
Using e-mail notification for long-term data storage is also supported by the IEC 61131-3 programmable L-INX Automation Server (LINX-110/111/210/211), the L-VIS Touch Panels (LVIS-3E1xx, LVIS-ME2xx) and the CEA-709/BACnet Gateway LGATE-900.
