Gateway Function

A fundamental feature of the L-INX Automation Server is the sophisticated Gateway Function. It supports the seamless integration of data points coming from different communication technologies. An outstanding feature is the mapping to OPC tags. Data points from the different technologies are automatically mapped.

BACnet Objects from the LINX-200/201 Automation Servers can be automatically mapped to OPC tags.

L-INX Automation Server support the integration of M-Bus devices according to EN13757 and Modbus. In both cases the L-INX Automation Server acts as a master. Data points from M-Bus and Modbus devices can also be automatically mapped to OPC tags.

Cross communication between the different bus systems can be configured by creating connections. So energy data supplied by M-Bus meter can be mapped to Standard Network Variables (SNVTs) or BACnet objects.

The gateway functionality makes the LINX-200 and LINX-201 Automation Servers a powerful integration platform to build consistent facility management.
