3 Installation
==============

3.1 Firmware upgrade with LSD tool (via CEA-709 network)
--------------------------------------------------------

Please see the LSD documentation for details on how to use the LSD
tool to update the L-Proxy firmware. See the LOYTEC web site
(http:\\www.loytec.com\) for details on the LSD tool.


3.2 Firmware upgrade with LSU tool (via console interface)
----------------------------------------------------------

Please see the L-Proxy User Manual on how to upgrade the L-Proxy
firmware via the serial interface using the LSU tool. The L-Proxy
User Manual and the LSU tool are available via the LOYTEC web site
(http:\\www.loytec.com\).


3.3) Firmware upgrade via L-Proxy Configurator (via Ethernet)

Please see the L-Proxy User's Manual on how to upgrade the L-Proxy
firmware via an FTP connection using the L-Proxy Configurator software.
