Danfoss Forms Strategic Development Partnership with LOYTEC

Danfoss Inc. and LOYTEC electronics GmbH have signed a strategic cooperation agreement by which Danfoss will use the LOYTEC LC7093 communications chip and also its ORION protocol stack for use in Danfoss electronic control products for supermarkets. Henrik B. Christensen, director of research and development at Danfoss in Baltimore, said that Danfoss has used LonWorks® technology for over nine years, and reaffirmed the Danfoss commitment to LonWorks as the industry standard for control communications and interoperability.
